Welcome. I’m glad you’ve chosen to begin this work. Coaching is most effective when both client and coach have a shared understanding of how we will work together. This agreement outlines the expectations, boundaries and responsibilities that support a safe, collaborative and productive coaching relationship.
By signing this document, we enter into a professional partnership grounded in honesty, respect and personal responsibility.
1. How Coaching Works
Coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused process. Together we explore what’s shifting in your life or work, clarify what matters most and create meaningful next steps. You guide the focus of each session. My role is to support your insight, offer perspective, ask thoughtful questions and help you move toward your chosen goals. Coaching is not therapy, counselling or medical treatment. I do not diagnose or treat conditions. Coaching is designed to complement — not replace — professional mental health or medical care when needed. If anything in our work feels unclear or uncomfortable, you agree to let me know so we can adjust. Open communication helps us create a relationship that works well for you.
